JODI FAITH GLICK -
Creator of BUDDHA WARRIOR
Jodi’s mission is to empower and train her clients through kickboxing, strength training and yoga. She believes very much in helping others find their inner power and outer strength.
Jodi’s mentor and kickboxing coach Angelo Squizzato describes her best “Jodi is the epitome of what BUDDHA WARRIOR means. She transmits strength, fierceness and a bit of MADNESS balanced by the softness of her spirituality.
Jodi’s journey in life has provided many lessons which she has boiled down to a simple philosophy:
MIND.BODY.SPIRIT.
We must find balance between the calm and the storm, male and female energies, mental strength and human compassion, inner peace and inner fighter. We must train the mental, physical and spiritual as one. The journey and combination of these lead to the balance one can find for their life. Jodi combined her experiences, teachings, and lessons to create BUDDHA WARRIOR.
Since 2012 Jodi has been embracing the fitness world as a Certified ISSA personal trainer.
Jodi is a certified yoga teacher. She completed her 200 hour private yoga training through ASHTANGASANA YOGA as well as her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Forever Om Yoga.
Jodi is also a former national level NPC bikini competitor and former owner of 9ROUND KICKBOXING.
Laura Strykowski – Fitness and Wellness Consultant
Laura brings a unique background and perspective to the fitness and wellness industry. Laura works to promote inclusion and create programs that embrace positivity, self-confidence, self-worth and inner strength. Kids and adults of all walks of life can rise above feelings of anxiety, stress, social uneasiness and improve self-esteem through her semi-private and one-on-one sessions that are both challenging and nurturing physically and spiritually.
Laura is passionate about helping empower her clients – challenging their mind, body and spirit to win all the fights in their life. As a kid Laura lacked confidence, always picked on for being small and extremely skinny. It wasn’t until becoming an adult that she embraced the benefits of working out as a way to build confidence and self-esteem and now works with others to help boost their confidence and self-esteem. Laura is a former runner – having run numerous half-marathons and completing the Chicago marathon three times, finishing each time in under four hours.
Laura has been teaching group fitness classes and personal training in boxing, kickboxing and strength and conditioning since 2017. Laura is a certified personal trainer, kettlebell coach and USA Boxing coach. After a courageous battle with breast cancer, Laura became a certified Cancer Exercise Specialist as well.
Laura has experience working with kids and adults of all fitness levels as well as working extensively with kids with special needs and adults with Parkinsons - all with the goal in mind of helping individuals feel better about themselves and gain physical, mental and spiritual benefits through fitness.
Laura lives in Northbrook with her husband and two sons.
